I like to see a little something of beauty each day if I can.

It could be very simple or something on a much grander scale if I’m lucky.

The camera is a wonderful tool to help you learn to see and remember it.

Here are some of my favourites from over the years.

Some places far and away.

I’m happy to think back over some places I’ve visited over the years and remember.

Places of worship have always been something of comfort and fascination for me. Visiting locations hundreds if not thousands of years old has a calming sense of gravity and scale.

While living in London, I had the chance to travel out to the Isle of Iona to stay there in the Abby for a week. This place holds special significance as it’s was originally established in 563 AD and has been a centre significance ever since. Various members of my family have visited over the years. Sitting in an old chair in the library I would wonder if my grandparents had used the same chair many years ago. Over the course of my stay, I took several timelapse recordings and edited them together. I hope you will enjoy it as well.

The mountains and the ocean. Some near, some far.

Rockets and planes.

Watching them launch and fly carries a bit of you along with them I like to think.

No matter where you go, there you are.
